    Question Tables inside of Tables

    Hello, I need some help/advice.
    I built this little custom module for Drupal that gets some information from a BF1942 Server I run.

    I have some player information that I want to display, split up into 2 teams.
    Now I use tables, to display it, but they are inside cells from a larger table. This rings a little bell in my head that says that its not a good idea to do, but I can't think of a better/easier way to do it. It works but I can't seem to get the table to fill the parent cell.

    See what I mean here: http://bf.alfred.edu/bfserver

    I am just looking for some guidance on a better way to do this, or atleast a way to get those tables to fill the cell in an XHTML/CSS compliant way.

    I'm not sure I completely follow. The second table, there's a gap on the right side of the table because you're missing one row to match the left. You could another rule to the bfserver-playertable class:

    Code:
    bfserver-playertable td.moveup{
              vertical-align:top;
    }
    And that should move the adjacent table cell up on the right hand side. I think tables for this approach is the most logical.

    Sorry if I didn't follow your request properly.

    Well Close, I just need the inner table to expand and fill the parent cell. I do not want any space between the top and sides of the inner table and the top and sides of the outer cell.

    The vertical-align:top; works to pin it at the thanks!
    But I am looking for a way to make the table expand horizontally to fill the cell

    Probably need to collapse adjacent borders:

    Code:
    border-collapse:collapse;
    Probably on the opening table tag, would be my first stab or on the table cell.
