SPF's Official Language is English and all communications should be in English. English is the only language we all understand. If a moderator sees a post in any other language, it may be removed.
Be courteous and polite at all times, even if you disagree with someone.

Most of the forums have important posts stickied at the very top -- we encourage you to read them. Many frequently asked questions and tips, and important resources are posted there and it can save you a bit of time.
You should also search the forums using the search box, which is located at the top of every page.
You have 30 minutes to edit your post after it is being published. After that period of time, your post will be locked for editing. This is an anti-spam measure. Often enough, spammers would write an innocent post so that moderators would not act against them and edit them later on.
If you really need to edit a post, please contact a moderator for assistance.
Experience has shown us that discussions of politics and religion usually lead to disputes, and people end up upset and offended.
It is OK to ask for technical help for a religious/political site. It is the religious or political arguments we want to avoid.
If your thread hasn't received any answers, don't bump it.
Do not revive old threads by posting on them and getting them back to the first position of the list. Those discussions were finished or didn’t get enough attention in the first place.
Don't post the same topic in more than one forum. If you feel that your thread needs to be moved, PM a moderator instead. Otherwise, forum members may feel frustrated and annoy, or think that it is spam.
All posts in the forums are easily found via search engines, so unless you're willing to expose your information to the world, please do not post telephone numbers, e-mail addresses or IM nicks in your posts. For your own security, keep private information like that - private.
We may edit or remove a post that contains personal information. We may issue an infraction.
Friendly debate is fun and helpful,. Disputes aren’t, and should kept private. If you think that someone is being disrespectful to you, or that others may be affected, please report the offensive post.

Moderators deal with reported posts based on the information that is available to them. Sometimes a decision may not be exactly what you were hoping for, but it will have been made for a good reason.
