Looking for a Journal type entry cgi possible?

OK this is basically what I'm talking about..

I want to be able to like "log" in and write what i have to say whenever I want. then I can upload or i just can send in the data. much like a message board... but I don'twant the message board looks! Here is what I would like but free...

If anybody know of a cgi version or any other type, please let me know I would really appreciate it.. thanx...

Blogger is way cool and i am a user of it for my site.

I know Rage is working on an alternative using PHP that he'll be running and i'm trying to help him with that. but until then you'll love the function of blogger.
