    Php Restore

I don't know where to turn to, but it seems I find myself here whenever I'm lost in the PHP world.

Recently, my server crashed. It took the company three days to tell me that they have to make a new server for me from scratch. They did just that.

They added my old drive as a secondary drive. Mysql is installed on the new drive.

What steps do I have to do to get the old database running on the new? Can I simply copy the folder in the /var/lib/mysql/ directory over?

    Please help. Much appreciated.

yea you can do that. You can also export the database as a .sql file and just import it in the new server.

Thank you. It's reassuring to hear that.
