Brendon Sinclair, long-time linchpin of SitePoint’s popular email newsletter for freelancers and business owners, has stepped down from his post after five and a half years.
In his final issue of the SitePoint Tribune, he shared a few thoughts about the decision to move on:
I’ve always been a bit of a stickler for making the newsletter informative and entertaining, but after more than five years I’ve run out of energy and now feel it’s time to pass the baton on.
It’s been a terrific opportunity for me to write the Tribune, and thank-you to all of those readers who have contributed with questions and feedback. I hope my efforts have helped your online business or marketing skills even just a little.
In five and a half years at the helm, Brendon authored 167 issues, and was instrumental in growing the subscriber base of the Tribune.
Brendon is also the author of SitePoint’s best-selling Web Design Business Kit, the updated second version of which continues to sell well, helping thousands of business owners establish, market and expand their web services businesses. The kit is the culmination of Brendon’s years of experience running a successful web services business in Queensland, Australia.
Miles Burke, co-author of the Tribune, will continue to write regularly for the newsletter, and several exciting new authors are also lined up to contribute guest issues in the coming weeks.
Brendon, we thank you for all of your words of wisdom over the years!
