Repair microsoft access databases for free

Hi, does anyone knows a software that can repair corrupt microsoft access databases for free without any restrictions? i don't wan to pay $$$ just to repair a single file. Any ideas or links? thanks

did you try repairing it with access?

it can't open as it comes with errors. it is access 97. If it an be repaired how can i do this?

open access, select Tools, Database Utilities, Repair Database

it will then prompt you for the mdb file

then press the Repair button

i can't open it the error says "the user does not have permission to convert or enable this database" i can't even get the database to open. I tried using a convertor it could only convert the tables but not the forms as it was only an evaulation copy. any ideas?
