I would also suggest not to use godaddy, rather go for hostgator.
Godaddy is full of crapy ads and they are biggest spammers i ever seen

I use aplus. Their support is great and I have had no serious down time. My site sells a product that feeds me so I would trust and recommend them to anyone.
godaddy is good only for domain regiatrations…
I had a client who researched a domain with godaddy, but did not purchase the domain. godaddy stable host for wordpress

haven’t used them for hosting but they were cheap for domain registration. I can understand how people would get frustrated by all the add-on sales junk. That’s probably how they make a lot of their money though but I’m sure they lose customers too.

I have a few domains with them, which are OK. But I find the website very slow.
I hate their renewal system… you buy a domain and then you don’t need it anymore but you forgot that Godaddy forces domain renewal unless you click not to renewal… then like today I have paid another $9 for a domain that I don’t use… I have removed Godaddy from my PayPal pay list today so that I pay whenever I want

That is the annoying thing about buying domains from them- all the crap that you have to opt-out of. However, their DNS Management interface is very nice.
I use GoDaddy for Domain only, not for hosting.

I agree, they try to sell you something at every opportunity… and i have heard this from tons of people as well.
I also agree --GoDaddy is difficult to manage, irritating, and not as helpful with customer service as some other providers.
Totally agree , if you get more than 50 users a day , DO NOT USE GODADDY … they are kinda horrible
