I read some threads and guys are earning well then me. I want to promote my webmaster forum for Adsense but I want some ideas about Adsense Placement for webmaster forum.

It’s like taking forever to get to $100. I wonder how others are making 5 to 7 hundereds a month on adSense.
Google’s payouts are low. When I checked out Adwords, the minimum bid was $0.10 a click. The minimum click rate I ever got running Adsense was $0.04 (4 cents) a click. If $0.10 is the minimum per click bid, I gauge that Google is getting a 60% cut of the revenue.
Sprinkle words like “fraud” and “scams” “financial fraud”, “lawsuits”, etc., in your page. I’ve gotten over $2 (two dollars!) per click on a site that wasn’t about those topics, but had those keywords (legitimately) on the web page. Of course, I did not get many clicks. But, $2 a click is nice.
I no longer use Adsense for the time being. I have money sitting in my Adsense account I cannot access because it is below the $100 threshold for payments.
I do not have particular experience with Adsense on forums but what I can suggest is to follow how the big boys implement them =) Just take a look at DigitalPoint forums and I think you won’t be far off if you follow what they did.
This is killing me! I got 49 clicks and only get $2.95. Why?
I mean the right side-bar, most of my clicks come from the ads in the right side-bar. You will find that almost all blogs have their ads in the right side-bar.
i’m only getting 5 cents per click and the rate of clicking is very low. I have 7k impressions half month and only 40 clicks

That is considered bad. You need to change your keywords so that Google will change the ads. Test over time to see what keywords really work. I post ads under each blog entry and on right side of page.
No wonder im only getting 5 cents or 10 cents clicks. I Used to put an square picture ad on the right side of my blog which is the side bar, but no one clicks on it so i took it down. What do you mean " right side of page"? do you mean right side of each blog post?
On my forum I use text + image ads horizontal skyscraper under the first post and also one on the homepage. I hear that 250x250 image ads placed on the top left work best but I can´t fit that.
adsense on forum is not good, and forums also are not good for the ratio work/money. This is my opinion about most forums starters, but of course some forums are successful and can make me lie, but hard work for sure. not for me.

To make any decent money off google you need the trafic first. Google have some great tutorial videos which if you follow will increase your revenue. The main sizes which google says are there bread and butter

Hey just went to your site and really liked the work you have done on it. Also left a comment, tweeted it, and did a like on facebook. I think that if you, added the Google connect, it would help you get more followers. If you work getting followers to interact with you, should also help.
Just follow what the big guys are doing. For me, it is doing well this time. It is only a matter of experiment and of course you need traffic to make it.

Webmaster forums are quite popular, if put together well it could make a killing. However there are a few good webmaster sites out there you might struggle to compete. As for adsense, just keep an eye out for the competition and see how they do it.

You and me both, LOL. Used to make about $45 a month from my old blog but it crashed and had to start over. But I do know that we need to post articles with high paying keywords, and views must really like said articles, so that they come back. But as you know that is easier said then done!
But as to your question as to how they are making that much money, they are running many sites with auto content being posted daily.
