OK guys, well I own Aspired.net a film news website and 14 days ago I decided to try out Google AdSense, after installing it and getting approved I received my mail letter with pin about 1 week ago and was finally all set up.
Today I finally reached $100 dollars in my overall earnings.
Is this good ? or should I be making more or less ? I average about 900 visitors per day.
Since using AdSense my biggest day has been $40.01 with only 28 clicks, but the day after I received 27 clicks but only made $0.75c which made it my slowest (still dont understand)
My average/pay is at $7.18 right now.
Im just happy I’ve reached $100 and will be getting a payment next month.
Please give me input or advice about these stats and my website,
You see good earnings per click on average one day and then not so good another day. This is because advertisers are bidding against each other. It also depends what ads are clicked on your site as not all ads are the same and also not of equal value.
yes placement is key, I tried looking at your site and see all ads are broken (404). wish I could see them but since I can’t Id suggest using different size ads on different pages and make sure to keep a clean look. it seems you have one ad per page, try no more than 3. good luck
I’d say you’re doing pretty good to get $100 in a few weeks. I’ve had an adsense account for a couple of years now and am almost at $100. Of course, none of my sites are really getting much traffic.
It can take anything between a few weeks to half a year to get your AdSense account fully approved. The process goes through various stages all of which validates different aspects of your application.
Basically, you’ve got to be patient to get fully approved.
it’s true that I don’t see any adsense ad too despite the code being present in the source, did you have some problem with adsense disabling ads on your site?
Also I’ve noticed you run kontera and infolinks concurrently on your site. Kontera does not allow that in their TOS, they already contacted me about it on one of my site. And I told them infolinks was making me more money than them, so if I remove one of the two it would be them. Then they offered me a deal based on CPM rather than CPC. And I negociated and now I’ve removed infolinks and I’m earning only with CPM for this site with Kontera.
I’m impressed. Two weeks with adsense and already a pay out. It took my years to hit my first payout.
I don’t use adsense on my sites very much but I would like to one day build one that works with it.
