First make good meta tag like title, description and keywords then start social bookmarking.
second thing is write press release and submit it in press release directory.
Article submission also good for getting instant traffic.
All good suggestions from Stephen. I’d also recommend starting a blog on the site (if you haven’t done so already) and writing regularly on some general interest in your market. Get the blog listed in blog directories and social bookmark each time you update it… also we have found twitter is a good traffic driver to our blog if you put out an enticing tweet everytime you update your blog.

I have done social bookmarking, and getting traffic from digg and twitter, but that is not up to that mark which i am looking for. Keywords i selected from Google keywords tools, but i found the competition is so much there, in this situation, how could it possible for me make the websites with minimum 1000 visitors for my websites at least in starting.

I believe you can. But I believe that will not be useful for you as I think that would be irrelevant traffic
Make your site full with keywords (only good keywords that you are going to target )
do some on-page work and put your self behind on off-page work
