Spreadable is a new (beta) tool you can customize and integrate into your website to make it easier for your visitors to share your content and send you referrals. Among the useful features of Spreadable are an easy-to-setup widget, customization and real-time analytics.
Each Spreadable widget has two primary components: an overlay (displayed when your Spreadable button is clicked) and a standalone referral page. You can build the page yourself and host it on your own domain or they will host it for you on a subdomain on spreadable.com.
The service comes with extensive customization capabilities. You can define your color scheme, add your logo and use custom messaging. You can even customize the messaging for each social channel and choose which social sites to display.
The service include analytics so you can track results and improve your site from the statistics generated. You can track and analyze your referrals based on geographic location, where on your site (what page) they are originating from, what sharing channels and social sites are most commonly used, and who your top individual referrers are.
All tracking happens real-time, so you always have measurable results as to how your referral program is performing.
The service is currently in beta, but it has the potential to provide something many website owners could easily integrate to learn more about their site visitors, promote their services and improve their websites.
