Yeah, that damnable goose. I put her in her pen (which I’ve fenced and staked like crazy) and she’s out in the two minutes I take to go do something else.
I just need to go out to mom and dad’s, put the goose in the pen and then watch from a distance. There is just so much to do, I always get distracted, but this goose seriously destroys a lot of very expensive plants. My mom is wildly addicted to very expensive plants and this goose just sees them as food.
Crazybanana, it’s nice that Wiz (aka the concrete queen) suggested ketchup, but I’m not sure ketchup as a building material is a great idea. Just saying…

Outfoxed by a goose - now that’s not something you read or indeed see everyday Jason 
@ husband - the poor thing - maybe they had a fight and she just walked out on him - felt guilty and wanted back in…? Jeeze…birds! what are they like!
Birds can be a nuisance!! I put a bird feeder out in our back garden and it fell down because of all the finches fighting over who gets to sit on the perch - anyway it was on the grass and I said ok…best go out there and put that back up before it attracts unwanted pests! So, went outside - what did I see? Only a little finch stuck inside the bird feeder cage!! I had to pull the thing apart to get him out of there poor thing, he was fine and unharmed and was back again feeding once I re-organised the bird feeding setup - those cages can be death traps - I threw it away after that 
But I digress - I think birds can be a nuisance when it comes to your flowers and garden too - We’ve got these blackbirds, they drive me mad - all the bark we have on our flower beds get’s thrown off and onto the grass because of them snooping for little insects in the flower beds…the grass gets covered in all the mulch so annoying! I think they do it deliberately! :injured:

My family does A LOT of ‘weird’ stuff. It only seems weird from the outside, it’s all pretty well reasoned usually though.
Currently my strangest back burner kinda project is figuring out how this gimpy pet goose of my parents’ is always escaping her pen (but this goose has been outfoxing me for weeks now). Usually she escapes and then just stares longingly at her husband that she left in the pen and who cannot get out. When she gets hungry though, she’s quite the plant killer.
BTW, birds are hands down the most efficient weeders I’ve ever seen. Their judgment sucks though, if it is a plant, they eat it.
no ideas for my new bbq place? that’s so disappointing… some of it will be made of cement you know…

I walked into a hardware store the other day and asked them for a wrench. They asked me “Sure, what size?” and I said, “Medium.”
Sometime later today I have to put up scaffolding. I just spent an hour looking up, “How to put up scaffolding,” tutorials on Youtube.
