I sell a product on Clickbank. Affiliates purchase domains and create url forwards using their affiliate hoplink directed to a sales page on my website.
The problem is that despite the fact that these url forwards are redirecting to an inner page on my site they are showing up as backlinks to my website homepage??
Now these redirects are not resolving to my homepage so why are they appearing in backlink checkers tracking backlinks to my homepage only?
They reason i’m asking is because its skewing my backlink information and I really can’t understand why they are appearing as backlinks to the homepage when they all resolve to other pages on my site.
Any ideas?
