I think Wordpress is quite possibly the most popular CMS used almost exclusively for blogging. One of the best features of Wordpress - especially for those just starting out with websites and blogs is the template system, which includes widgets that can be rearranged without editing PHP or HTML code, as well as themes that can be installed and switched between .
I recommend that you shouldn’t use any CMS. try learning PHP… know the basics from w3schools and search for what you need to know in GOogle… coz CMS-based sites are limited up to a certain extent… moreover if some one finds out a bug from one single CMS all the sites based on that CMS can be effected…
But still if you want to stay up with CMS I will recommend Wordpress - the easiest one!!
There is no “best”. There is however the right CMS for the project you’re working on.
CMS’s come in all types, variations, abilities, and prices. What you need to do is write out a specification list of what you want to be able to do with it, then match your requirements with any available CMS - there’s a big list of them at http://www.cmscritic.com/pages/cms-list.html
i agree with Bluedreamer on the fact that there is no “best”. Anyway, for normal people with no special knowledge on it, Wordpress is to my mind really great. Than, it depends on every ones experience you should try and make your own choice !
There is no best “anything”.
What do you need the CMS for?
What requirements do you bring to the table?
I need better web traffic, and for which i am searching for best content Management system.
well i have heard of joomla is one of them.
searching for others and for which i have left this query.
Thanks

Hi Nevin,
no CMS will aid you in getting more traffic. Content and marketing are some of the elements that will aid, not the system you manage your content with.
Wordpress.
Simple and Powerful!
Thanks for such wonderful reply
I agree with BlueDreamer…there is no “best” CMS, as you need to figure in what your needs are. For a blog or blog-like site with articles that get published frequently, it doesn’t get much better than WordPress. If you need something very lightweight and easy to edit existing websites, try out [URL=“http://surrealcms.com/”]Surreal CMS.
Since you’re asking on here I’m guess that something like one of these will suffice for your needs, but there are many other options out there as well.
what is Joomla and Drupal best suitable for?
nevins and rupshika why don’t you give us some specific information about what you need from a CMS? These short sentences asking such basic questions are really frustrating and irritating to read and questions like these have been debated here ad nauseum.
Do a bit of research before asking something.
Hello,
There is a good number of CMS services available in the market, each highlighting different features and capabilities. If you’re blog-oriented, you can use WordPress. If you want a more comprehensive CMS, you can use Drupal or Blox. But on top of these powerful content management systems mentioned above is Joomla. Joomla CMS is considered to be one of the most flexible and extensible applications.
Thanks
Thanks. Good to-the-point answer to to-the-point question. This is what I was asking for. I wanted expert comment from expert users on their views on use of various CMS.
