What to do if penalized by search engine?

What to do if your keyword get penalized by search engine can any body let me know

To fix this penalty, the first step is to remove any violation of Google’s rules. Sometimes that’s enough, and Google may notice it. You’ll be put back into a proper position on the search engine results pages.

If still its not done then you can submit your site for a reconsideration request.

Can any one tell me how keyword got penalized?

You may have stuffed that keyword everywhere so it may get penalized. Use that keyword naturally to your content. (at least it should look like that :))

good tip!..

Sometimes it also happens that you submit your site link in that directory which is already analyzed by Google, in that case your site also suffer. So always submit your site to only high PR and authenticated sites. Google penalty is usually for a specific amount of time. So you should wait that particular time period and read terms and conditions before taking any step.
Thanks

you have to use this key words with your content as natural as possible, in this way it wont messed up

 1. Buying / selling links:

Let me make it simple for you to understand. All the links to your website are seen as let’s say “votes” by Google. Now, the more links you have (possibly with keywords inserted within the anchor text), the better your site’s ranking will be. But, if you go over –board with buying and selling links, or linking back to others just for the sake of manipulating search results, then you are likely to get completely out of the book! BAM! Google will penalize you. For further reading, you can check out what Google’s own Matt Cutts has to say about buying and selling links.

 1. Back-linking with spammers:

Are you a spammer? Do you want to be a spammer? You know what spamming is all about and how search engines disregard it, right? Listen carefully, Google hates spammers! If you have back-linked your site with a lot of spamming websites, then… well, get the hint! You’re site will be penalized and you can just forget about your online business!

 1. Stuffing keywords like Over-Stuffing Your ThanksGiving Turkey!

Hey, never over-stuff your Thanksgiving Turkey! Some people are in a habit of over-stuffing things. I don’t why, is it because having ‘more’ satisfies them…They fail to see that the end results are not as good as they anticipate it to be.

Using keywords within the titles and evenly distributed within your web content is stuffing, but over-using the keyword like a mad man in every sentence is over-stuffing! It not only makes the article seem like an abstract way of writing or in other words, seem unintelligent and uninteresting. If that’s what you want, then um….sure…it that makes you happy and thinking it’ll rank you up on Google! Tsk tsk!

Avoid this and make your site search-engine friendly, not search-engine scary!

Well, Once get penalized then very hard to be back. But small changes in the SERP is normal. So once sure about penalization then find the reason , correct it. Then submit for the re consideration through webmaster tool. Also while submitting for re consideration describe the reason for it clearly. Can not assure after this process will back ur position but this is the procedure

Yes do a SEO job according to Google instructions,
you have a chance to recover your keyword if you do that,
plus, you can use google analytics to help to improve your seo job

i personally think this tool is the most powerful tool

Send a bribe to Sergei Brin. Twenty bucks should do it.

After, Google penalizing your site. You have to analyze the reason for penalizing. Then you have to rectify that. And, read the Google Webmaster guidelines once again. Then develop your site with quality unique content, keyword & finally request Google from Webmaster for site consideration.

Know how to place your keywords right. Keep it low in number. At least just 4 to five keywords for 400-word article and make sure when you use keywords they actually make sense to the readers.

Thanks for detailed description

I’m not really sure about google permanently banning the site. But I do know a lot of people with lots of sites penalized but as they talked it over and committed to not to do dirty tricks anymore. they came back live again.

Just remove whatever the violation was and then keep building genuine backlinks and providing great information on the site. Nothing works better than backlinks and content in googles eyes.

Google does’t penalize keywords, they penalize pages / sites. Put in a request for reconsideration. Be honest, because they already know anyways. Tell them what you did, what you think you did, what you are doing to correct it, and that you won’t do it again. The process if fair, and works. Your site may end up coming back stronger in the long run. Mine did.

B4 punishing u google uncle warns u in ur “google analytical account” by sending u a description…

"We can easily track penalties by setting up a custom report inside Google Analytics.

google-referrals From Google Analytics, go to Traffic Sources -> Search Engines. Now click ‘google’ in the reports section on the right.

The next page will show traffic to your blog that originates just from Google. Rather than checking this report manually each day, we can setup an alert through Email -> Schedule -> Daily, sent each morning.

The PDF report includes a graph for previous days so you can quickly discover any change in traffic patterns."

Once you figure out that the site has been banned or penalized in Google, it’s time to write a reconsideration request

If that happened, would try and amend the content of the site to a non-penalised keyword, or look at my stats and see if there are other search engines bringing in worth while traffic, and focus on them
