Hi,
my website has been penalize by Google, but i have not used any black hat technique even thought all my website and sub pages is not to be seen in first 10 pages i am so worried. Don’t know what to do.
I would like to share with you the new Google penguin update, May be your website was punished the recent update. Please understand the penguin update do all changes and resubmit you website. It will reconsider by google.
It is hard to say what the issue could be, as site ranking fluctuates all the time and sites come and go. Can you say exactly what you’ve done to your site in the past?
We have done directory submission, article submission, blog commenting (i have chosen high quality blogs from my niche, do-follow), forum postings along with on page optimization. I still haven’t removed the footer links on my website i am guessing this might be the other reason for being hit by the penguin. any suggestion is welcome. thanks.
are you sure it is Google penalisation? The best way to find out is head over to Google webmaster tools…and install it and if you are suffering you will find out over here…if there are no message it may well be just some google dance coming your way…
Does nothing.
Again, does next to nothing for SEO.
Doesn’t matter. It’ll still provide next to no benefit whatsoever.
I see a pattern here…
To be frank, what you’ve suggested would have done next to nothing for the ranking of your page, and if you had somehow gained any benefit from pushing low-quality links around blogs and forums Google will soon wipe that slate clean, as it has done now.
I would suggest an entirely different approach. Do some competitor analysis, see what your competitors are doing well and look to see if there anything similar that you could be doing.
If you are not performing any black hat methods then send the mail to Google by the Google webmaster tools. And keep on collecting quality backlinks to get your ranking back
To say what? “Please give me a higher ranking?” If it were that easy, then everybody would be doing it.
If there has been some problem with the site - for example, it’s been hacked, or you’ve recently taken it over from a less scrupulous owner - and you’ve resolved the issues that caused Google to penalise it, then it’s appropriate to ask for the site to be reconsidered.
If you have simply lost ranking because Google doesn’t consider your site to be of high-enough quality, then you need to start working to improve the site. There is no quick fix, and simply building backlinks is not going to be enough.
Remove these first then wait. If you start changing a load of things at once you will never find out what the problem was.
In the meantime check things like page load speed, inbound links, to see if there are issues there that you can look at later.
Reason of the penalize the website may be following
- Keywords stuffing in website page content like heading, images, left navigation, footer and body text.
- Over optimization on the website
- Make lots of links on single anchor text for a page
If you are doing this type of work then it may be the reason of penalize by google.
Did you check this method on google site:yoursite.com ? if your pages are shown then you are not penalized.
Based on my own experience, I have several sites that have been penalized by Google. I suspect that aggressive link-building is the reason, since I did not engage in black hat seo practices. If you have a brand new site which is less than 3 month, it’s possible that if you build way too many links in a short period of time that can result your site being penalized. How long that penalty will last, depend on how severe it is. Some penalty may last 3 months, and some may take 6 months before your site can fully come out it. I would suggest you to file a reconsideration request, which I believe is not going to solve the problem.
Here is what the kind of response they might give you.
We reviewed your site and found no manual actions by the webspam team that might affect your site’s ranking in Google. There’s no need to file a reconsideration request for your site, because any ranking issues you may be experiencing are not related to a manual action taken by the webspam team.
As someone told you, try to figure out what you did which triggered it. Sometimes, it may not be because you did something that violate their guidelines. It may well be something that you did which may have looked suspicious in the eye of Google.
I dont think that your site will be panelised. you have only searched your site till ten pages. try to put your site into google box. if it shows any result it mean that is not banned and still in database.
