What Method of Payment can I use in the Web Development/Desing Business

I am setting up a Web development/Design business that also offers SEO and Hosting. The main thing about this business is that I have managed to get reputable freelancers available for work everytime I get a client, In other words I am going to act as a middle man save for Hosting.

I’ve done research about payments and know that you can pay via paypal, credit cart, debit cart, moneybookers etc. However, I am going to deal with business and pesonal websites. Although, these kind of payments would be good for individuals I don’t necessarily think it would for business. Currently I am only targeting locally ( canada) then once I get enough clients will go on and try to sell services world wide.

I think paypal is best for payment processing.

PayPal biz account should do ya

There’s only one answer to this question: You’ve got to accept whatever payment method is convenient for the client.

This will vary from country to country, but in the USA and most of Europe, the most convenient methods for business are usually bank transfer, debit card, credit card, and cheque. I would give your business clients a choice of those methods. Add PayPal is you wish, especially for individual clients. But ultimately it’s got to be the client’s choice.

paypal and moneybookers both are best and very effective for processing payments

As I thought very common answer is Pay pal this makes it easy to decide which is the best method you can use in the web development/Designing

Paypal, money broker and authorize.net are good payment platform

What kind of process do i need to follow to have this bank transfer, debit card and credit card option?

For bank transfer, you don’t need to do anything. Just make sure the client has your bank account details (most firms print these on their invoices).

For debit and credit cards, you need to sign up wth a payment processor, which is more complicated. Have a word with your own bank about this in the first instance. If you’re just starting out, you might prefer to skip this option for now. Just accept bank transfers and cheques. The vast majority of companies expect to pay by one or other of those methods.

paypal is best way for payment option otherwise you can directly use visa or other services like Pay One authorized.net etc…

There’s no point in keep on repeating that “Paypal is the best option”. It’s not - at least, not in the case that Aboudie is asking about.

Paypal is a good way for people to send money to friends and relations, or for individuals and small businesses to collect payment for goods and services ordered on line. If you were selling a product from your website, and your business was too small or too new to be able to accept credit or debit cards, then Paypal is an obvious choice.

But what we are talking here is companies paying invoices to their suppliers for goods or services received. In those case, it would be most unusual for a company to expect to pay via Paypal. Most medium and large companies have automated payment systems that are geared up to paying by bank transfer or cheque. They might occasionaly use Paypal to make an exceptional on-line purchase, but it’s unlikely to be their preferred method of payment.
