15 years. I’m not a “programmer” per say but do regular ol’ HTML/CSS and a bit of JS and PHP plus work with template engines such as ExpressionEngine

Coding up web sites, mockups, playing and testing

  1. Which text editors do you use?

WeBuilder on Windows and Coda on Mac. Sometimes use Notepad++ for odd bits.

Aprt from liking the way they work they are both commercial apps and I like to support the small businesses that develop them

I’ve probably downloaded and tried most of them over the years

Not really, I’m happy with the ones I use

Dreamweaver - bloated/don’t use Adobe products

  1. What functions might some text editors be missing in your opinion?

None really, editors are in contant development adding new features

What research? By which institute? And are you really going to collect the answers manually from all the “portals” you’ve posted this questionnaire on?
