How we can know more about fake profile on facebook and twitter because as we all know there are many things to notice in that. So kindly tell me what is the best way to judge fake profile.

There are no hard and fast rule to identify the fake profiles and it is very difficult, some time automatically you can find that this is fake, but there is no rule for this.

You can’t tell for sure whether a social media profile is fake or not as people join, try out and may subsequently leave social media platforms as they wish.

However, there are a few things that you can look at to judge whether a profile is real or fake:

  • Completeness of bio.
  • Activity and interactivity (an authentic social media user tends to interact with community members).
  • Authenticity (real life photos, similar profile information across different platforms).
  • Connections (are they followed by or friends with real people?).

Once you have spent some time on social media, you will slowly pick up the skills of judging the authenticity of a profile in less than 1 second. :smiley:

I am not use much use facebook ,but you can define that profile is real or not by

  • social net work that person joint such as if person profile said graduate from Chemical Engineering , he has to know some in Chemical ( not me I forgot )
  • Person old member or old fried
  • person that link as friend.
    Buy anyway event real person that you everyday meet still can lie to you.
    So simply to say that don’t trust and beware

We can also find fake facebook account by watching their friend list. Are their friend local or global? ? The more local the friend the more chance the person to be real.
Also check for the photos in profile. If the user is using only one pic in the whole profile, then the account is fake.

This is very easy to find the fake profiles. You just check the profiles activities and their profiles information. Check the picture and timeline of pictures. You should understand some think wrong here.

  • if the activity of the profile is missing or somehow suspicious;
  • if the profile pic is only one, showing no face, nude etc.
  • if the info section is empty;
  • if the friends list is quite small;
    Then, yes the profile is fake

yes there are lots of fake profiles on fb and twitter, but it is not very tough to get difference between original and fake. Fake profile always post only promotional status and and promotional activities.

  2. Look for status updates,wall posts and comments.If the user hasn’t updated a status for quite a long time and hasn’t been involved in any wall posting or commenting of other statuses,it means that the profile is likely to be fake.

  3. Look at the recent activities.If it is that the user has just been adding randomers and making new friends,and that there are no pages liked or groups joined,it suggests that the user is determined in jst adding people and hence the profile is fake.

  4. Check out the friend list.If found that maximum of the friends are of the opposite gender,it can be assumed that the profile is used either for fun or for random dating.

These are the Tips To Identify Fake Profiles On Facebook
1 Always be suspicious of profiles featuring photos of professional models. Most of the fake profiles, especially that of females, have only one profile picture and that too a beautiful or sexy (ahem) picture!
2 He/she would be tagged in tons of cartoon pictures than his/her own picture.
3 Check when she/he joined. If they have lots of friends and have only been on the Facebook a short amount of time, it’s likely to be a fake one.
4 If he/she is in your friend list, then you will get lotta application or like requests from them. I got many requests like that, some include “Can you send me a chicken?”, “Can you send a buffalo?”… LOL.
5 Fake profile’s feeds will contain only friend request adds.

That’s not easy. Profiles who never do anything after their first few posts or shares are more likely to be spammers. Others are probably schemers who like to cheat on you to get your money.

I’ve had 30 fake facebook and google + account but if you would look through you don’t understand if it’s fake or not.
