Registration of Website - visibility of website on internet

Hello,

I recently, 4 days ago, published website (developed with Joomla 1.6) and registered it on Google, Yahoo and Bing. Also on Alexa and similar websites.
I can see it in Google just when I write full site name as search term.
But when I check on Yahoo or Bing I’m not getting anything.

I would be very thankful it somebody give me some hints or tell me what I did wrong or didn’t done jet.

Thanks in advance.

As KCgame says, you may need to wait just a bit longer. Search engines take a while to index new content, and particularly new sites. Even once they’ve spidered them and indexed them, it will take time for them to be linked to relevant search queries.

You can find out which pages on a domain Google knows about by searching for site:domain.com.

I believe what you can do now is to give it a little more time to include in their database. I usually do not bother about the Search Engines when I have new sites because I will post them in my old sites to make sure the Search engines crawl them soon. You may want to try out this method =)

Each of SEs has its own webmaster section. Just visit them and check whats up with your site

Thanks mates

Each SEs using different algorithms for crawling and data fetching. As we all know Google is the most popular and useful SE. So results will be come very faster in google. Don’t worry, your site will be listed in other SE soon.

In my experience Google will crawl and index fairly fast - within 48 hours if there is original content there - but ranking may be slower.

Yahoo is handing everything over to Bing so Yahoo is a disaster

Bing is a disaster! I have several pages that rank top 10 in Google but Bing has only crawled the a few pages and ranked none of them. But from experience I know that it will … eventually!

yahoo and bing are generally slow in their crawl, secondly using an aged domain solves these kind of issues like , first off keep getting organic traffic secondly indexing becomes easy.

I agree with cpafreak. As far as I know, Yahoo! & Bing looks at the age of the domain before it your site becomes visible in search results. The older is your website, the higher the ranking. But again, I may say that domain age is just one factor among others.
