The theme for this month is Highways and Byways, so anything from busy city streets to quiet country lanes, footpaths, bridleways - the choice is yours!

I’ve posted the top of this sign-post before, in the “Funny Signs” thread, but here it is in situ.

(This may look like a byway, but in fact, it’s an A-class road. )

I’ve seen what passes as an “A” road in Scotland. This from 2012, the A837 between Culrain and Rosehall, it has sheep all over it.

I got a lot of good pictures on that journey as the scenery got more impressive further into the Highlands, the weather was just right that day.

After this we did follow the Caledonian Canal including Lock Ness back to Inverness.
