I have a website for which I have hired a agency for my website SEO. They start their work 2 months before but still the keywords are on the same page as they were before. Even the keywords were on the 200’s of list in Google and now it come on 400’s of list. I am very worried about my keywords ranking.
The keywords are “Web design company”, “Best web design company” and “Award winning web design company”. I know that keywords have very difficult competitions and it could take 3 to 4 months to rank on Google.
The thing is that it is not increasing in ranking but it is getting downfall day by day even the SEO work in going on my website. The agency is doing white hat SEO and the optimize website is having dofollow attributes, high PR and low OBL.
My client told me that the design of the website is not good and their is nothing in the webpage that Google can crawl. My website is <snip>.
They send me the cached page of Google that Google recently crawled on my website.

As there over 10 million results on Google for “web design company” (exact match) and over 600 million for ‘web design company’ (without quotes), yes you’re in a very competitive area. No matter how much SEO you do, why do you think your site is so special that it will out-rank those other 10 million (or 600 million) pages? A better plan is not to worry about getting to #1 for such competitive keywords, but to try to find a more specialised niche where you aren’t up against so many other websites.
As per my concern, First of all check the Meta tags of your site I mean on page and also most important thing to check the content.
Content should be unique,thematic and user friendly. Now a days you should to aware your self with the latest Google updates and algorithm.
Now we should to concentrate on quality only not on quantity of site. If on page work is right then we should to do only quality off page submissions like 40+ DA, Minimum PR1+, link should in site main body part, link should be placed on genuine and thematic site not on link forum sites. Don’t submit your site on same IP site. Use variety in your link means use different different TITLE, DESCRIPTION . Also do co-citation and infographic for your site.
My advice is to avoid SEO companies. Most of the time they don’t deliver on what you need, although there are a handful that can have a small effect on your SERPS ranking. Go to the Google help pages and improve your website ranking yourself by following what they suggest.
Your client is correct. Try the site with javascript turned off and see for yourself.
Other than fixing the design (should be easy for an award winning design company to fix its own design), you could try optimizing your location i.e. “Chandigarh” in your SERPs
Yes I know their are millions of companies who use the keyword “Web design company” to rank the website but if they are ranking then why I am not able to rank my website on Google top of listing. I know it could take 6 to 7 months to rank this keyword but the very first thing is that the keyword is still on 246’s of position on Google.com
Some of these companies may be paying good bucks to be there. The thing is… is it worth it for you to spend thousands of dollars to get there? If the answer is yes, then go for it.
Have you tried carefully studying the sites which do rank highly and comparing them with your own? Is there something these sites have which your site lacks? Your SEO company has told you your design isn’t good for SEO, so see if you can learn some lessons from high-ranking sites.
That alone will not be enough to put you at the top of Google for such highly competitive search terms, but it’s one way you could make a start.
I think two months is still reasonable as the competition for your targeted keywords is extremely high. Are you asking for reports where they get the links that are being built for your site? This will help you assess the effort they do for your website. Or you can ask them to analyze your competitors that are listed on the first page of Google to see if you can get the chance to take advantage of their resources.
As steve already said above that you are in very competitive area. if you see towards the competition then its very difficult to rank in Google, especially in 2 months of period. I would tell you to follow algorithms. Accordingly start working on it, follow the guidelines and also follow the competitors work. It will take little time to rank through this way but you will get long lasting results through quality work.
