I used to do article marketing but after new panda release i am like confused should i submit articles in article directories or not.
Do some research and submit them to a few QUALITY directories. Don’t bother with sites that will just spam your article to hundreds of sites, this will hurt you. But you few high PR links will definitely help.
After New Google Panda algorithm it will affect in that case when you are using copied content or meaningless contents because this update measurably target on unique content. There is no effect on article submission.
I think article directories are still worth going for, however I would recommend submitting guest posts instead.

No. Google is attacking these directories full force, and it will only get worse. Add to that that once you put your site on these directories it will be stuck there getting dinged by spiders and you won’t be able to take it down.

I use to submit a single article to many article directories, but now i am submitting only to one directory because of panda update. submit your article to ezine, articlecity, articlealley.com where you get quality links.

Article marketing gets you just bunch of crappy links… not more than that!
Its better to distribute quality content instead of spreading duplicate content with intent of getting bcklinks.
You can try with blogging.
- It gives you quality traffic
- Quality backlinks
- Credibility in your niche
It is Better to Submit your article on Ezine, I think it is better to submit a Blog.
put limitation on site where you submit your article put only on sites which have give you any value stop submitting to without value sites

It is not bad effect just you need to take that submit your article in top high PR 25 article sites.
make sure u choose the good ones only.

If you are submitting unique contents and not submitting one article to large number of article directories, you will not get affected. Panda update is looking for unique contents.
Simple rules for any article submission website.
Unique content
Attractive Title with (not meaning less)
Quality meta tag and description
Good body content
No self promotion in Body content also in summery
Author Bio and 2 self promotion link in author section below the article
Just need to write good meaningful, quality content. You can submit your article anywhere and get approved easily and get ton of backlinks

I write an article (a good one) > submit to ezines > rewrite the same article several times > submit to other directories (around 10 of them) > So there are no exactly same copied content and quality backlinks (I assume). It takes time though but since I do marketing for my own company, I’m ok with that. Please let me know if its a good way to article market…?
I’ve been doing article marketing more than 8 months and I’ve already distributed more than 80 articles. I also use article distribution services that can distribute my articles to more than 500 article directories. As far as Google panda update is concerned, it does not make any impact whatsoever on my ranking. Even though according to many it is true that article marketing has taken a major hit by this update. But, I don’t that should discourage you to continue to use it as a way to get links to your site.
I think this update mostly impact those who are submitting articles that are not relevant, just for the sake of getting links. But, there are so many reputable article directories online nowadays you can make a list of some of them to submit your articles.
