Sounds odd, but their pricing is quite high for something I know very little about. Just wondering if anybody out there used their services and if so is the money you pay worth it. There most expensive package is 2000 USD per month, which does sound like an awful lot.
I’ve never paid for anything from Seomoz - I’m just a follower of their blog.
I’d never recommend paying for SEO if you can’t do it yourself.
What do you think there package costs a lot? SEO isn’t easy.

Ye, it does sound a lot. If I can do it myself I would prefer to. What justifies these prices? 100USD per month sounds a lot when you’re starting out. Maybe if you have lots of clients it might not sound as bad because you can cover it but I certainly can’t. I rather read books and do it myself however hard it is.
I’m not really sure - probably because of all the things that they do for you - in terms of SEO.
I just checked SEOmoz though - they have a free trial version, did you look into that yet? https://www.seomoz.org/cart/freetrial?pg=plans
Still require credit card verfication. I will probably go for the 1 month trial, but in terms of doing it yourself, I prefer doing it myself. I know it’s not easy, but it might be better in the long run. In terms of having endless clients demanding work, then SMOz would be ideal because you could save time. The only problem, or possible solution, is that I have plenty of time.
See my post on your other thread about this.
I never pay to this site for SEO. But they are really good in SEO and they can not cheat you because of their reputation in SEO field. That is way they are charging high.
Spending money for SEO is not fair at all. But if you are in need of some more needful things about seo means it would be okay to spend.
This is completely wrong. SEO Moz don’t even do SEO anymore, what they sell are tools helping you to do your own SEO. Perhaps you should go back to their site and have another look before making such wild accusations.

A much better option than Seomoz is SearchEngineNews.com, they have been in the market for much longer than Seomoz, and Seobook.com. You can verify how old their site is using the wayback machine.
They charge you yearly 140.00, and you get a monthly email from them with new password for the month, and evey month you get new tips on SEO, content writing, etc. Every now and then, you also get a special alert report, like this month due to the Google update, titled: Google Burns “Content Farms” In Feb Algorithm Update
I have been with them since 2003, and used their tips to boost my sites rankings.
They also offer SEO services themselves, phone consultation, and all those bells and whistles that other SEO “experts” offer, and they are pretty expensive.
Highly recommended for the price.
Persumably you’ve used both and can comment on how much better the SEN tools are than the SEO Moz tools? I wasn’t aware that SEN had any decent tools, the ones I’ve used in the past have been pretty basic and the SEO Moz tools and campaign manager knocks spots off them.
Yes, I have used both that is why I say their content (read my post, I don’t mention the word tools) is far better, specially considering the cost; however, again I don’t talk about tools, I talk about content they provide, tips they provide.
I have also used seobook.com, and that is why I can confirm SENEWS content/tips are of much more use.
Tools they provide, I really don’t use much.
There is software you can buy and use for a much cheaper price than the per year amount they charge i.e Link-Assistant.com tools. I have used Rank Tracker, and SEO Spyglass since 2007 for keyword tracking and research with Wordtracker which is the only tool I find useful apart from the good tips I get from SENEWS.
Another thing is I am talking about organic SEO tips, not PPC. I used PPC first in 1999 with Microsoft Exchange, the very first PPC I had seen, then Overture in 2004, and then Adwords in 2006, never used PPC again as I consider it expensive. I would rather spend time SEOing for organic links, and learn/read get updated on that; however, if if you need one good source for PPC is Perry Marshall’s Adwords ebook which basically talks about about split testing, so you need a script to run your split test (Split Run Test is a pretty good inexpensive script), and/or Kaizen Track a very powerful (not easy to use) Taguchi test analyzer.
