How can i improve Google ranking of my website

Absolutely spot on!

Well ranking a page needs a lot of consistent hard work which can be named SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
There are two main aspects of On-Page optimization and Off-page optimization. The On-Page optimization occurs on your website whereas Off-Page optimizations take place on websites other than your own.
The On-Page optimization contians a checklist of things in accord with Google guidelines like no plagarized content, keyword embedding and much more.
The Off-Page optimizations contains set of activities that take place to improve your SERP rankings like social bookmarking, blog writing and much more.

Hi deavidwelson, the fastest way to rank your site in google, aside that you’re doing really great white hat link building or really organic seo, I would suggest that you should engage also in automation in other side, like having strategy that not everyone know it, ifttt syndication, great onsite seo tool powersuite , and autpilot automation tools that will create back link in a couple of minutes.

I strongly suggest you take time to read Google’s guidelines, as that is one of the things specifically listed as a reason why a site may be penalised.

Not to mention that anything that says ā€˜oh you just run this and your website will improve in ranking in a couple of minutes’ should be trusted about as much as that nigerian prince who’s got billions of dollars he’s giving out to random people via email.

The original question was how to improve ranking quickly - on first page of SERPs.

I imagine that using a script to create backlinks [sic spam] might have that effect. Because the question didn’t specify an interest in maintaining the SERP position, or that risk of eventual blacklisting and removal from all SERPs was a concern, the answer may not be that far off.

Just because most want long lived sites doesn’t mean there aren’t those that have disposable spam sites.

Doesn’t also mean we should be suggesting violating Google’s guidelines because ā€œit’s a disposable spam siteā€.

To improve Google ranking for your website
Here are the steps to do

  1. Make sure your content is unique.
  2. Fix all the technical issues of your website from GSC. The technical issues such as 404 pages & remove zombie pages.
  3. Implement the right robots file i.e what search engines have to crawl.
  4. Based on your business you have to know what are the important pages to be indexed on Google by implementing (Noindex tag)
  5. Make your site speed i.e it has to quickly load on a mobile device.
  6. Generate high-quality backlinks to your website. (Note: Quality of links are important not the quantity of the links)
  7. Remove harmful/uncategorized links which are pointing towards your website (From GSC).
  8. Work on latest link building tactics such as Business listing/ profiles, be active on forums, blog commenting, image sharing, infographics & out-reach.

To improve your ranking and watch your website rise the ranks to the top of search results. It’s depend on your website if your website is according to the Google point of view like the website has fixed these factor meta data, H1, H2 tag, high quality content, mobile friendly and get high quality back-links from different domain then you can come to the first page of Google.

THAT is NEVER guaranteed.

Instead of picking a few factors at random, that will have minimal effect on SEO, why not just read the Google guidelines…

To be fair, he said can, not will

I mean, at this point the thread’s circling the same drain as every other thread about trying to suck up to Google to get on the first page, and getting the same trope answers from 2004 that always come up (on-page off-page SEO guest-posting page-rank (bingo!) backlink blog article…)

I’m a doctor Jim, not a lazarus pit. Call this horse dead, let’s stop beating it.

Research your competitors who are highly successful in your niche

Find out which type of long tail keywords they are using. Find out which type of blog posts they are writing and length of the post. How are they running ads, Where are they running ads on adwords? Where are they placing their keywords? Do research in detail.

Next step will be to just emulate their strategy. Do not re-invent the wheel, Just do what works.

optimize different sections of your website with relevant keywords and of course, as assist1 said, research your competitors, the success of others can be a great lesson

Yah! I know it’s not granted but I defined some main major points of the On-page SEO. I know all about google guidelines I share one thing if I will use high quality content and fix all the on-page activities then you can get rank at the top of Google. I’m doing guaranteed for the long tail keywords or the domain name and for the high keywords the different strategy will apply so you have to need more learn SEO!

First thing is your website should have qualitative content and less spamming. Rather than that you can use latest Off and On page techniques like Guest Posting, Article Submission, Profile creation, Title tags, URL structure and many more.

build strong backlinks, it’s will help to rank at 1st page.

Steps 1-3 there would be if you don’t have a website and are just looking to try and troll around and come up with ā€œI want a website at the top of google rankings because either i’m golddigging, or I have compensation issues.ā€

Step 4 only works if your chosen troll-space is so weak that you can actually write an article that is ā€œ10x betterā€ than the highest ranked site, which… riiight…

Step 5 is to then forget steps 1-3 and do something different.

I’m sorry, none of this makes sense or applies to the subject of taking an existing website (especially one in which the OP has stated [Post 8, which i’m sure has been read before making a post] that they’ve already done ā€˜back-linkings’, blog posting, and keyword research before this point) and actually improving its ranking.

It depends on the what keyword you’re trying to rank for. Could you share the keyword?

@m_hutley I saw this as the question ''Looking for the fastest way possible to help get our website to the first page of Google. If there was one thing that could help more than others and be the most efficient what would it be?"
and that is the one I responded to. I want to state that most times is not even about the number of backlink but a quality one in a good scenario. Well to make it clearer I answered based on the question that I showed you and that is the way to go about it. I made mention of a detailed article I wrote and this is my own way of ranking. There is no one real way but everyone has a way of pushing up on the first page and I am sure I started new blog on a very competitive keyword and today its ranking to a reasonable level. Thanks

I haven’t read all of the posts (I think, nobody does), but I’ve read that somebody adviced you to do some SEO and you said it did nothing. Then try to do content marketing and google ads to your site. Your aim is to attract a lot of traffic, so there’s nothing better than that and you shouldn’t worry about your position in the search,
