How is a site with the following able to get onto page one for 2 high ranking keyords, which are competetive and 2 low ranking kewyords with only the following

URLs are not really seo friendly or formatted for keyword
Well, for what it’s worth, I did searches on the terms that Google AdWords Keyword Tool indicates are the terms with the highest search volumes relating to “Wedding Photography”.
Here is what the Google SERPs returned for the website you mentioned:

From this entirely unscientific sample - which was conducted in the UK - it seems that this website is getting boosted for having the keywords in its domain name. Input any search term that deviates from those keywords, even by a little, and it is lost in the lower pages of Google.
I suppose that is the power of having targeted keywords in the domain name. However, Matt Cutts has recently stated on the Google Webmaster Help YouTube channel that Google was “looking at” reducing the weight its search algorithm places on having keywords in the domain name.
Again, for what it’s worth, I did a quick look at the website and found broken links, plain advertising pages and little else of benefit.
IMHO, it is pure web fluff.
If I was looking for a wedding photographer and I happened upon this website, I would soon be hitting the EXIT key.
I doubt that it is hurting professionals in this line of business much.
It still seems to be very important.

There is a group of students from Evanston University USA and they build something like their own search engine machine. They took into account about 17 ranking factors and their ranking results (first 10 results) conformed at about 70% with the SERPs from Google. Their conclusion was that some onpage factors (like title and description tag) and other criteria like PR and keyword-domains are still very important ranking factors…
