Extra character in blog title out of nowhere

Hi,

I have a blog and in the settings for the blog title everything is fine. However my site still shows an extra character preceding the blog title, like this:

| Blog Title - The | is there and I don’t know how to get rid of it, hope someone does here. :slight_smile:

What CMS is this blog using? Have you looked in the theme/template for any clues?

It’s using Wordpress, I’ve looked in the header.php some index.php but nothing.

It may be coming from a plugin (SEO title thingy?). Try temporarily deactivating all your plugins and see if it corrects itself.

I think you should change the theme to get rid of that, also add plugin All in one SEO Pack and customize it with your description.

It was the SEO thingy, I just deactivated it and the special character got removed! :slight_smile:

I am not sure what are you speaking about, can you please share what actually you deactivated. Was it some kind of plugin
