If you are going to start working on email marketing then its will generate good leads and traffic on your site. For that you need to find the targeted business directories and other stuff such Yellow pages and etc…

Best of luck for you!

Hi,

Well, you decide in what route are you going forward.

You can rent or buy email lists. Just Google it and you’ll get tremendous results on that. The diffrence between the two is:

  • if you rent it then you pay money to the list owner ad he/she will email that list, not you. I mean you will see that list never

  • if you buy a list then you email them but you depend on the mercy of the seller because you may don’t know what he/she sell to you

Are those lists useful for you?

Generally not because they aren’t targeted to your promoted product: What is more, I warning you quietly that 99 times out of 100 you’re getting emails gathered by robots. That’s a list of addresses of people who have not agreed to receive messages from you.

Consequently, you will be labeled as a spammer in no time.

I don’t recommend you this kind of ‘list building’. Why? Because, at the beginning of my internet marketing ventures I purchased a similar list in 2006. I was very happy that I got 200000 emails for $200. I emailed them and expected some good outcome.

Ha-ha… my nightmares started here. I got spam complaints in rapid succession. Some people wanted to sue me. And I found myself on a few backlists next week. I stopped and decided not to use this method in the future. That’s my guideline since then.

What you can do if you want to be fine?

Say, you have a product you want to sell (either your own or some affiliate product). Avoid spamming. Make a squeze page and offer some incentive thing (free audio, ebook, report, software, video, etc.) to your readers in exchange for their data. Send them an acknowledge email after they gave their name and email – this way you may be convinced about correctness of the data and the subscriber will know what he/she has subscribed for.

Make and keep a complete record about every subscription. That will protect you in case the person complains because he/she forgets about his/her subscription. Clarify your privacy policy, it helps to fortify subscriber’s trust in you. Respond to every subscriber’s inquiry asap. And the most important: you must allow your subscribers to unsubscribe from your list. This opportunity must be in every email you sent out.

These are only basic aspects. More knowledge can get by using the search function of this forum.

Many successes,

Sandor

If you don’t want to buy any list, you can utilize yellow pages, linkedin and google to search for potential clients. If you don’t have time searching then try to hire someone from odesk or elance to do the task for you. You can use mailchimp or sendblaster to send the mails. Be careful with your content, you would never like your mail being considered as spam.

hey mates thanks for all your replies…

as I have posted, I am not open on buying list or renting them… I wanted to know if there are software that I can use for me to gather and collect email faster than the manual yellow pages…

thanks

Collecting a list by harvesting email is even less ethical than buying or renting one as you have no permission, no rights – you are sending unsolicited email. In many locations it’s illegal to send email without obtaining permission first.

Email marketing is the use of email to develop relationships with potential clients. It is an inexpensive way to advertise your company and its products and/or services compared to many other types of marketing.

It’s a good idea that you’re interested on this kind of business, you just need to know all about email marketing and have a feasibility study. This would help you decide. Good luck mate.
