Dedicated server

I’ve just started with a dedicated server and am migrating 5 sites to it.
With the hosting plan, you purchase IP addresses as needed (none were included initially).
You have to purchase at least 1 IP (for your first website). In the control panel they list that website as having a “dedicated” IP.
For your remaining websites, they can all be “shared” hosted on the same first IP. (So it really seems as though all of the sites are shared IP hosted.)
4 of my websites are of minor importance to me, they will all share the same IP.
One of my sites is very important to me and it is the last one I will bring to this server.
My question is, should I purchase a second IP address for this single website? Is there an advantage to doing so?

  1. The cost for the IP is very minimal, and not necessarily an issue. But why spend money for no reason.
  2. I full understand inter-site linking and the value of separate IP addresses. That’s not concern in my situation.
In regards to handling traffic, server load, ranking, really anything at all, would purchasing a dedicated IP for this one (most important) website provide any service or benefit?

I suppose if you have one web site and that is dedicated for you only you can use that for all of your web sites. But if you can afford the minimal cost for additional Ip I would recommend you get dedicated

BTW that is little nit wrong forum section
