Scotland is in the news today (for reasons we can’t discuss here ). I don’t know how folk from other parts view Scotland, but I thought I’d share this link, which might have one or two things to surprise you (not least the fact that whoever wrote the URL can’t count):

I wonder how many years it took to get all those photos without any rain clouds!

Dunnottar Castle appear on a Microsoft Windows 7 wallpaper.

A few places there I would like to visit - perhaps in a few years time.

What! You’re suggesting it rains a lot in Scotland?

I have just found an interesting map and I suppose it comes as no surprise that the west side is wetter - presumably weather coming off the Atlantic. But nobody in their right mind would live on that side. Some places on the west have three times as much rain as the east and I had not even thought about it.

So looking at the overall view the answer is; yes

Lovely shots. However, I just hate it when you go to places like this and discover that there was some big dirty industrial complex just out of view. :stuck_out_tongue:

It takes a very foolish brave man to insult a bear like that…

[/quote]I haven’t visited them all, but I think it’s pretty safe to say that only Glasgow and Leith are in any danger of coming into that category.
