register your hotel (the one that you are promoting) at google map. If it is already registered, use the other features for hotel or list at hotel directories. Most hotels are already listed or already in google map. You have to be creative when marketing your link. See examples from other things listed at google maps
That could be beneficial but I think most of the hotels has already listed their property on the Google map.Well I am planning to opt a strategy kind guide me on this - I am trying to generate backlink for particular city ex - “hotels in City Name” .The back-links would come from article directory,forums profiles,directory,social bookmarking etc…Do you think this is gonna help me improve ranking…
Linking in forum profiles - certainly in a forum like this - will have no benefit at all for SEO, and is a total waste of time. Why? Because only logged-in members can see the profile, which means search engine bots will never see it.
The other things may have a small impact, but links which you can place for yourself carry little weight with the search engines.
vacation and hotel niche is better with adsense. I already thought about doing this niche a long time ago but I think I have to spend more money to market it. Facebook ads also helpful. If you have a blog, you have to write quality content ex. your experience there or you can ask someone who have been to that particular place. Have you promote CPA before? It works the same.

I disagree - it’s not always about what the ‘search engine bots’ see it’s about how many external link are made to that page

It’s a pretty long process in all honesty, but the best way is social media and making people aware of your site and link building. Not sure how Google Maps helps though as Berbert explains. Get as many external links to your site as possible too - by commenting on blogs like this one with a helpful link for them <snip> they will then click on your link - the more links clicked onto your page the better and the higher you will go in Google (it doesn’t matter that this is a members only forum as ‘search-engine bots’ don’t need to see it for it to work, it’s all going on behind the scenes!
I’m not at all sure I understand your reasoning here.
Firstly, how will search engines know that anybody has clicked your link?
Secondly, external links on this forum (like many others and many blogs) are nofollow, and as such will be discounted by search engines, even where they’re not behind a log-in page.
(And, of course, link-dropping is not permitted here, anyway.)
Friend don’t misunderstand but fast ranks are history, try to think on long term, only this way Google will be a friend with you. Not even local will not be an option for a booking website.

get your business listed in search engines like google, yahoo, bing. And also post your business on business listing sites/yellow pages it will definitely help you.
