A great site that I use for article submission is Ezinearticles.
Article submissiopn (for me) is for TRAFFIC DRIVING only. (its just a plus if the site is a do-follow one!)
You should be familiar with some of popular and most effective website promotion techniques like forum marketing, link exchange and article submission. Techniques come and go but article submission remains effective because search engines exist for content.
