Since this weekend I have to log in every time I visit the forum. Even when I select ‘remember me’ in the log in page. During a session it remains logged in. But when I close my browser and later visit it again, I have to log in again. It doesn’t seem to remember that I logged in and selected it to remember. Can that be fixed?

Do you have the “delete cookies on exit” option enabled with your browser?
We have just done a vBulletin upgrade so it might be a little bug that needs ironing out. My account is the same and I have to login each time too.

No I don’t have ‘delete cookies’ enabled. Other sites/forums with the ‘remember me’ button selected stay logged in so that’s not the reason.
No problem with Chrome, but it seems to be an issue with IE as well.
I’ll talk to the dev team about it.

I’m using Firefox 3.6 and am experiencing the same issue.
Luckily I keep my browser open for most of the day so the session stays active, so not massively inconvenient for me

Yup, same for me. I just had to login again today, not a big deal but it is much more convenient only logging in once! I’m using Internet Explorer 8 by the way.
