[WordPress] I want to show my blog posts on another page

ok im really frustrated i want to set my blog posts to show up on another page, i create a new page template:

but for some reason it does want to work:

Under settings > reading at the top you can choose which page you want the blog posts to appear on and which page you want to be the front page of the site? Is this what you are trying to do? If so you need to create 2 pages. One for the homepage and one for the blog posts.

i did make the changes in the settings but it is still not working

maybe its the code

From what I recall you are close. There is a setting in wordpress, I think under page settings or something, you want to look for something called “static pages”. It should look like a checkbox that you click on. After you make your pages static, you can create a page titled for instance “Posts”, and then have all new posts from now on display on that page instead of the homepage.

the issue with the loop code, i don’t know if i messed it up or what. but i am using that blog.php file as the page template were the posts should be showing up but they don’t.
