Google analytic is a software which allows you to track your page views, user paths, and conversion statistics or through including a JavaScript tracking code on your site.

I would think just about anyone who is concerned about where their visitors are coming from, how they find the site, and what they do when they get there.

Google Analytics is not the only tool that does that, but it is almost certainly the most widely used.

I’m not quite sure what you’re asking here. Are you asking for alternatives to use instead of Google Analytics?

Google Analytics
Google Webmaster Tools
Google Alerts
Bing Webmaster Tools
Host Server Logs
