I saw that we recently added ‘tags’ to Sitepoint.
How can I create new tags for my topics, or am I constrained to the preset ones (‘available tags’)?
Thanks Ryan, but that didn’t help.
It told me how to filter by tags, but not how I can make them.
I recently created a topic, for instance, and none of the available tags made sense for it.
The OP (which I linked to) says that if you want a new tag created, you can create a thread in this sub-section and request it.

Yes, you can’t create your own. This is a fairly simple add-on that we proposed/created, and it will refine over time. As Ryan said, though, you can suggest tags to be added to the list.

Okay, I’m not touching that. I’ll probably do something wrong and crash all of Sitepoint!
There is some miscommunication going on here. 
We’ve actually had tags here since we launched, but the plugin needs a bit of love.
You can’t add your own at all, anywhere, but I can. What tag were you thinking about SOTD?
