So I have recently been thinking about getting some adwords or facebook advertising for my portfolio site: /snip
Now not having used any of these before I don’t know how effective they will be and if it will be worth it.
Can you tell me of the past experiences you have had with it?
Now I don’t really want to start promoting it until I finish school, but I don’t know how early on I should start so I can start getting hits and stf, then jobs 
I should be working for a company after I finish too that does interactive web and mobile technologies(apps, website, graphic design, video etc…) so how do you think I should promote it if any?
