Suggestions for reporting a scammer on Flippa

Hi everyone,

I was recently the victim of a scammer who never paid me for a job I did over at oDesk.com.
I found out that he is now selling his Website (The one I did the work for) through Flippa and I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to help protect other fellow webmasters who earn a living working online from getting scammed by this guy again.

I already reported him to Flippa, and provided a few links so that they can verify this guy never pays and I’m sure will cause some major headaches to other people online.

The listing is this one.

I’m exposing his bad habits on the same listing, but he keeps deleting it, so that is obviously not working.
He is actually saying that he paid me already and I’m not getting a penny more from him. If you have worked at oDesk.com, you know everything is nicely stored and I have proof and everything that he never paid me and I also have the chat log with an oDesk.com representative where I ask her a few important questions about this dude.

What else can I do so no-one else gets scammed by this dude?

Hi.
Flippa isn’t able to get into a he-said/she-said style mediation between parties from other platforms. First port of call will be to follow this up with oDesk. Outside of that, if you still effectively own parts of the website (which is what it sounds like), you may wish to lodge a DMCA for the listing which will initiate more formal legal proceedings.

In the mean time, we will take a closer look at the seller ourselves…

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your help. It seems the information I provided to Flippa was enough to Suspend him for the moment. It’s just sad to see that these guy got away with a lot of work people did for him, including me; and never got paid a dime.

He is selling that site because of our hard work, but I’m glad Flippa is doing the right thing and backing up the honest, hard working individuals who work online.
