Site redone, need to wait for G reindex?

Recently I entirely redid a site, except for maintaining about 3 page tags.

Previously to this, its was about a 8 page site, now about 45.

Its been only about two weeks but G is still showing old cache pages and only a couple at that. While Y shows everything thru site explorer now.

Question is, does anyone know if the big directories look at Google/Yahoo cache results to find out if sites are brand new? Or perhaps use the WayBack Machine to verify? (thing is with this, even the last couple years could be omitted) What about dmoz, do they use these tools or is it up to individual editors?

Of course indicating how well established is the site.

Should I wait till G displays a full reindex because of this?

what i understand and experienced so far with directories including dmoz is that they check the current status of your website, dont thinks they have a way to check for your website for a long time back. they check cache and the current website i thinks only and then choose rather or not to include you

now about redoing your website. if you tried to maintain its ranking and keywords position i thinks you should of kep the 8 page’s address and just add more content even if it means building the new website to fit these 8 address .

and if you want to submit you website to a directory dont wait . it takes the directories long time they they actually check your website so…
