Pages indexed, but no rank

About 10 days ago I got first pages indexed. Now I have indexed 56 pages, but still no rank or traffic. If I type literal sentences, Google doesn’t find it. My page has only unique content, about 500 words per article. Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong? My page is dilster.com.

tnx

Hello,

It is a good news that your web pages are indexed on Google, and you have a concern of web traffic and ranking. So I would like to suggest you that try for SEO of the website. Because, any SEO company will optimize your website and doing the link building which helps the website to get traffic and ranking.

The thing is that I already considered SEO. I consider onsite optimization. The code is very clean, it has h2 tags, unique titles etc. Also I have done some link building. I don’t use any black methods, I don’t use any spam. I have never experiences something like that. As I remember, when I got indexed I also got rank. But not in this case. This is why I am a bit confused why that happened.

Meee,

I would like to say, traffic refers to engaging the people on your website, and you can see your website is only content rich website, there were no graphics, no media or something that people can spend its own time to navigate the website. I would like to suggest link, that I guess your’s organic competitors. Please visit these websites and compare it with your website, and try to do needful. The links are: http://www.topdatingtips.com/ and http://www.datingtips.com/. Also, you can use social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter…etc.) accounts to promote the website and popularity.

You didn’t read my question properly. I am only asking why my pages are not ranked in Google considering information I gave. Please no spam replies any more.

There are a number of reasons why you don’t get traffic.

  1. Dating websites have EXTREMELY heavy competition due to being a multi billion dollar industry.
  2. Your sebsite is very new.
  3. Your on page optimisation is very minimal, and a quick peek didn’t show any off page visible.
What have you done in terms of off page seo?

I am not talking about the traffic. The problem is that my pages don’t even show in serp, even if they are indexed. In terms of off page seo I put the link in my forums signature, published about 10 articles on ezine, squidoo and other sites, did some social networking bookmarking etc. Again, the problem is not about the bad position but that my pages are not even in serp.

Hi Meee,

I am agree with the comment of Benbob, as he said that there is minimum amount of on-page optimization is done, there were no meta tags for keyword, also no description content in which you can target your specific keywords. Until and unless you can show the keywords to search engines, how it give position on SERPs. You can analyze your website online with this link: http://www.seoworkers.com/tools/analyzer.html
After analysis you go through the on-page optimization process in which you can target your keywords in meta tags and then follow the off-page process. I am assured you it will works.

High position in serp = traffic; the two are directly linked.
I don’t want to rain on your parade, but what you have listed as seo activity in a very competitive market, is a drop in the ocean.
If you want to get anywhere with a dating site, I suggest you drastically increase your knowledge about on page as well as off page seo, do a lot more promoting and very regularly i.e. daily, and narrow from aiming at everybody and everywhere, to one specific niche. The latter will concentrate your promotional promotional effect and change it from bare lamp illuminating a football pitch to a spotlight on the centre point.

OK once again and again and again, the problem is not about the bad traffic. The problem is that I don’t get any rank. Not even on the last page of results. If I search for literal phrase from the content of page that is indexed, google doesn’t show anything.

Hi Meee,

Please let me know the phrase what you have searched for?

Amit

for example “Some people of this category falsify their identity just to con young ones. Hence it is very important to advice teenagers that when chatting and doing their dating should be very careful”
the page is http://www.dilster.com/online-dating-for-teenagers.html and is indexed in google.

How do you define: “indexed by Google”?
How do you know that you are not found on ANY page? I only get numbers that are verifiable if I put in ridiculous search terms that nobody would ever look for.

Meee,

Thanks for the quick reply, as search engine crawl the website, it index the page and its content, and if you can search by any title or any keyword it doesn’t give any result on SERP. Because you know my friend crawler get the content from Meta Tags, it give priority to the content written in Meta tags <head>…</head> section. Please mention the proper meta tags for keyword and description under header section.

For instance if you search for “online dating for teenagers” and target the same keyword in title, meta tag keywords and meta tag description, And after off-page optimization, it will show you the result page of your website. So trust me try this.

Amit

amitacs my friend as a firm who is doing SEO you should know that title meta tag doesn’t give any value those days. Google have much complicated algoritem as you think. Crawler doesn’t give priority to the content written in Meta tags speaking about showing or not showing in serp or serp position.

Meee,

I guess you go through this link: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=79812 and find the answer.

Are you absolutely sure you haven’t blocked Google by mistake in robots.txt or anywhere else? Easy to accidentally do if you’ve copied the file from somewhere else.

Actually I did about 3 weeks ago when I launched the site, but later I changed the file into follow all. Anyway google indexed pages after that change and pages are inside index, just doesn’t have any rank.

This is because your pages don’t have sufficient authority to get ranked. I have checked your website, pages are cached but don’t have any ranking. It may because of low truest, you should increase your website authority by doing SMO and quality backlinks to pages

When your website is not ranking in the top position, the chances of traffic becomes low as users can’t find you by searching for the relevant keywords. Would you please share the keywords you are targeting because may be those keywords are having low search count or they have huge competition for which it becomes difficult to rank in Google.
