No lol, i was suggesting you buy a new cheap battery from eBay, then list your laptop with it`s new battery for sale, and while waiting for it to sell you still use it, then after you sell it, buy a new one ::))))

I’ve never used eBay, and I’m not really thinking of doing so now, but I’m curious. Do you really think somebody would buy an eight-year-old laptop for more than the cost of a replacement battery and shipping? (Especially as there’s no guarantee another non-Lenovo battery would work any better than the one I have.)
It’s possible. They might be looking for parts, rather than trying to restore it.
I hadn’t thought of that.
For my point of view you should buy new laptop.
