I have a Paypal checkout system on my site, but I’ve had a few customers lately that have one issue or another with checkout problems, or problems with Paypal in general that have needed to place an order over the phone. I am closing down my brick/mortar store, and won’t be using that merchant account anymore. It was with Authorize.net which is a great gateway, but their virtual merchant is $25 a month. (Free with $25 gateway that is). If I’m only going to use it once or twice a month, it doesn’t really pay to use it. I’d be better off with a higher percentage rate and a lower monthly fee.
Any suggestions on inexpensive virtual merchants?
