I would like to ask what are things that MySQL is better at than MS SQL Server except being open source?

i mean, it’s like asking how a volvo is better than an audi – some people like one, some people like the other

without a context, specific to you and what you’re planning to do, this thread could easily devolve quickly into a fanboy mudslinging contest
