I page?

I have just signed up with I Page, and was wondering people’s opinion of them. I also noticed my site runs much slower then I would like and I can not get Google Analytics to work on it. I have made other sites on other servers and feel this has something to do with the host.

Thanks for your opinions,
Isaac

Agreed, what do you mean by Google Analytics isn’t working. Is Google unable to verify your site or what? You may of added it to your footer incorrectly. As far as their actual hosting I would have to agree it is slower then GoDaddy’s suprisingly. I would ask IPage if you could get moved to a different server, hopefully that willl fix the speed issue.

My Ipage hosting is indeed very slow too. That being said I don’t really see how google Analytics would be a hosting issue. It’s just Javascript code, and it runs on the client side.

The speed your site loads is likely down to your host as you say - it would definitely be worth getting on contact with them over that.

However, it is unlikely that your issues with Google Analytics is down to them as it uses javascript to track visits - nothing to do with the server setup.

I think you will understand what and “overselling” means in real world. Sorry about that. I doubt that the AdwordsCode has anything to do with the slow response of the server…

I have never used them before but if you can’t use Google Analytics that seems to be a problem on their end. I recommend contacting them to see if they can resolve your problem. If they can’t it may be a good idea to look at other hosts.

Jack

Yes, this has to do with the host only - better contact them and clarify the issue - if still not resolved move to another host.

Good luck.
