I’m looking for a touchscreen laptop for under $1,000 that won’t overheat when I’m playing games. Does anyone out there have any experience with a device like this or could recommend one to me?

Depends upon what games you want to play, but according to my experience, touch screen laptops are not meant for gamers they focus on productivity but if you are still looking for a two in one option do check out Lenovo flex 14 which has Vega 8 graphics built in rather than intel HD graphics which is a common trait for touch screen laptops.
