That’s pretty much it. Not that it matters, because Google PR is such a worthless and unimportant measure that it really isn’t worth worrying about – it’s more like a vanity trophy than a significant factor in SEO.[/font]
We’ve been telling people for a long time that they shouldn’t focus on PageRank so much; many site owners seem to think it’s the most important metric for them to track, which is simply not true. We removed it because we felt it was silly to tell people not to think about it, but then to show them the data, implying that they should look at it.
Page Rank is simply a measure of how many web pages point to the page. To get a PR of 10 the easiest way:
Buy 1,000,000,000 domains.
Set up a junk page on each domain that has a single link to the page you want to have a PR of 10.
Add each of the 1,000,000,000 junk pages to Google a few at a time (so that Google doesn’t think you are spamming).
Wait for Google to next extract the real PR into the nearly meaningless 0 - 10 logarithmic scale that tells you next to nothing about how your page ranked at some unknown time in the past.
To get a PR 10 the hard way - produce a site that almost everyone in the world wants to use the way companies such as Google, Facebook etc have. Of course to do this you will probably need to employ quite a large staff.
It is not an easy task to get 10PR for any website. If you want then you need thousands of genuine visitor to your site, need top class content for both on page and off page and also you have to keep waiting for PR updates.
I think you should not worry about page rank now. Because no one is sure about when will it be update. Even matt cutts also says that he is new sure about page rank update in future. So you dream will not come true for reaching PR10 for your site.
With great quality back links you can reach to your target but with the passage of time as well Google wont give you rank within few months so be patience head down and working.
The whole page rank metric is just provided by Google to help beginners check the trustworthiness of websites. Google might stop supporting the page rank at anytime and recently they stopped updating it as well - it’s been more than 6 months.
I assume your question is how to make your website an authority site which is a long journey that takes years of marketing, qualtiy content and hard work.
I agree it is not worth worry about and the focus has to be on the qualify of the content and product that you have. If you have great content and a quality product then people will link to you. You should not worry about the number of links you are getting also. It is more of the quality of links. Also, as a site is around around and it is quality, I believe it can increase in page rank because it will just get natural links.
what you site use for ?? i mean, if you site just about e-commerce site or article information.
i think its no worth it, you had to spend more money and times. sorry for my bad english.
