How to Design a Forum site that will have similar function like sitepoint forum

Please am seeking for an information on how to design a Wordpress based forum website that will have similar functions like sitepoint forum. I know of a plugin, bbpress, but it seems like it has limited features.

If you want more forum functionality than bbpress provides then you need to install a complete forum script. The one SitePoint uses is one that you have to purchase in order to be able to use it. The most popular free equivalent is https://www.phpbb.com/ - you can integrate that forum at least partly with WordPress by using http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-phpbb-bridge/ or http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-united/
