Hello everyone, I want to start promote my site on facebook, I have already created a page, but I dont know how to get a URL like this:
Everytime when I go to create a username, it ask me to create a personal profile, but it says business or website, organization can’t have personal account at the same time.
could anyone provide me instructions?
Also, how do I add a fan box?

Thanks, I know that, but it says Facebook profiles are meant to represent a single individual. Organizations of any type are not permitted to maintain an account under the name of their organization.
My question is How do I maintain a facebook business profile and still have the custom URL, for example: http://www.facebook.com/verizon can anyone tell me how? I tried to find answers, but couldn’t find any.

Per FaceBook’s Terms of Use, Facebook profiles must represent an individual. Users aren’t permitted to maintain an account under the name of their organization, or use personal accounts to advertise or promote themselves professionally. http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=13624
Thank you, I understand that, but how did Verizon get this custom url http://www.facebook.com/verizon newegg, http://www.facebook.com/Newegg they are a business, like many other business out there any information on this one?

Both of those appear to be Fan Pages as opposed to a personal profile: http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php
When you have Fan Pages setup under your account and you go to www.facebook.com/username you will see a link “Set a username for your Pages”. This allows you to set usernames up for qualified pages (over 25 fans).
do you have a personal page ? if not then you need to create a business page on facebook. There are plenty how to videos on youtube.
