Can anyone send me a link on a tutorial how to set up a forum/blog on a website.
I think you need to decide what you want first a forum or a blog as there are so many options for both.
Installing a forum is usually straight forward and most come with instructions on the website you download it from. The customisation is the hard part.
I would have a look around at some websites see what they are using and then come back.
This post may sound a bit blunt but is not supposed to be; but as I say you need to narrow things down a bit
