Google webmaster Don't consider backlinks in "Links to your site". Hix

Help me. Help me!
I use Google webmaster on my website but Google does not show the backlinks in “Links to your site” section in Google webmaster

Welcome to the forums, @quocky89.

It can take time for information to appear in GWT, so if the site or the links are quite new, you might just need to be patient.

Have you read the Google help page? https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/55281?hl=en

This morning I also noticed the missing links. I am sure Google will rectify their problem very soon.

From memory I had over a thousand Links.

Interesting to note that Google still shows 200 *Anchor Text strings.

There is indeed a bug being reported in Search Console which was noted by several SEOs yesterday. Google’s John Mueller confirmed that their team is looking into this. Here’s a link on this:

Several people have also reported a drop in their rankings.

Now I look, I have the same thing, it must be affecting everybody.
I always thought it strange that they showed link there that are nofollow, a bit misleading to some who may not realise that they won’t affect ranking. It would be more useful if it allowed you to filter those out.

The Search Analytics shows there was an update at the end of July, that may have something to do with it. Though my Clicks, CTR and Position have been rising since the update. Maybe it depends on what shade of SEO hat you wear.

No - I’m still seeing link information. (I didn’t check all domains, but the half-dozen I did check all show pretty much what I’d expect. )

I checked some more domains, two have no link info, but one still does.

Hey @quocky89 don’t worry. Currently this issue is widely faced by number of webmasters. There’s nothing wrong at your website. It’s something wrong at google side. It’s not first time that webmaster faced this issue at google webmaster tools. I am sure google will fix this in some days. However i accepting this question form from 3-4 days.
